When you go to a website, your experience should be targeted and personalized, just as that original ad was when you first saw it.
With Hyver, you can personalize a visitor's experience based off what campaign they came from, what they view on your website, what they've purchased, etc. Go ahead and click this new ad, which will lead you to a personalized experience...
Hyver works by first placing a visitor into one or more segments. A segment is any sort of classification you'd like to define, however we recommend you keep it fairly low level (men, women, diving, aviator, etc.). Here's what those segments look like in Hyver:
When you clicked on the second ad above, a UTM parameter tipped off Hyver as to how to segment the visitor. Here's what the conditions look like for that "Diver" segment you experienced:
Once segments are defined, you can specify content regions you want to be dynamic. In our case, we want the <H1> value to change based on the segment. The configuration for our region looks like this:
You can specify as many possible variations for a region as you'd like. Hyver will simply go through the list and show the first variation that matches. So, naturally, you'll want to be the higest priority and/or most targeted variations toward the top. Each variation is tied to conditions, too, which will activate it:
You'll notice that the variation for Divers (the new experience you saw) is the highest priority, but will only show if the visitor is in "Divers" and NOT "Female".
Great question. Those can be made dynamic just like content regions, but you have the ability to change anything that can be altered with CSS. This includes:
